G-14 Cargo Parachute Assembly
The G-14 Cargo Parachute Assembly is engineered to deliver non-fragile supplies and equipment via low-velocity air delivery methods. In its standard configuration, it supports payloads up to 500 lbs (226 kg). When deployed in a cluster of three, it can accommodate payloads up to 1,500 lbs (680 kg). The complete assembly weighs approximately 37 lbs (16.7 kg) and includes a canopy, static line, pack, and drogue.

Design: Flat circular/biconical shape with a nominal diameter of 34 feet (10.3 meters).
Materials: Constructed from cotton/polyester cloth (CCC-C-430, Class 1, Type II) for the canopy and nylon cord (PIA-C-7515, Type IA) with a 400 lb (181 kg) tensile strength for suspension lines.
Suspension Lines: 32 lines, each 27.5 feet (8.3 meters) in length.
